Exploring Sports
Through My Viewfinder
In high school, I participated in a range of sports, including football, baseball, wrestling, and track and field. Interestingly, I discovered that my true talent lay in capturing moments through photography, particularly during sporting events. I even joined the basketball team with the primary intention of documenting their games.
It's quite fulfilling to find a niche where my skills can shine, even if it's not as an active participant in the sports themselves. Being the photographer for these events allowed me to preserve the excitement and memories for my teammates and the school community.
Chasing Dreams Chasing zzz’s
My time at Full Sail University during my film school days was unforgettable. It felt like stepping onto a real movie set. I met diverse and helpful people who guided me on my creative journey. We worked on numerous short films together, often staying up late fueled by caffeine. Getting coffee for the crew was every production assistant's top priority.
We also got to explore Florida's beautiful landscapes as we pursued our cinematic dreams across the state. Amidst the excitement, there were amusing moments when my lifelong dream of film school led to unexpected naps in class, a testament to the exhausting yet exhilarating college experience.
Face Your Fears
I used to fear heights, but not anymore!
Ever signed up for something and then regretted it at the last moment? I once committed to a sky dive but had second thoughts as the plane took off, with the door still open. 'What did I get into?' I thought.
I contemplated backing out, but I stayed quiet. As we approached the door, there was no turning back. Anxiety surged. Yet, when we jumped, bliss engulfed me. It was as if life's worries vanished, and I was living on the edge!
I got my edge from my dad, who loved exploration and videography. I'm still a little jealous because his skydiving video had more footage!
Sometimes in life, you end up having a cat.
